All Class of 2020 students:
There will be an informational meeting concerning Elective 93ZH820 Medicine in Kenya on Thursday, November 15 at 5 pm in the Rotary Building Room RO121.
In order to be eligible to attend the informational meeting on November 15, please submit a two-page personal statement discussing global health interests along with your CV by Thursday, November 8 to Ron Pettigrew (email@example.com).
The Medicine in Kenya elective is a two-month elective for fourth-year students that focuses on urban and rural primary care. The 93ZH820 elective is based in Eldoret, Kenya in affiliation with Moi University School of Medicine. Students pay for all of their own costs, including room, board, and travel.
Specific date selection for this elective will occur by lottery at 5 pm on December 6. Only students who complete all the requirements and attend pre-orientation will be invited to participate in this lottery.
